User Settings
The User Settings tab provides options on how users can be created either through automatic creation from booking details or from Self-registration via Kiosk.

Auto create user records from bookings | When enabled new user accounts will be automatically created in ResourceXpress from bookings made via connected 3rd Party Booking Systems, this will include the organiser and any attendees. |
Azure Active Directory v2022.4
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Sync Users | Check this box to sync users accounts from Azure Active Directory. |
Use OAuth | Choose Use Resource Server Settings to use the same OAuth settings configured in the Resource Server tab. |
OAuth Tenant ID | If you selected Yes for the Use OAuth setting then you will need to fill out these fields. Check out our guides for configuring OAuth in Azure here. When configuring the “API Permissions” you will need to include the User.Read.All and Group.Read.All sections. |

Sync Filter | Select All Users and Groups to sync all available users and groups from Azure AD. |
Last Synced at | Shows the last time the users list was synced with Azure AD. |
Next Sync on | Shows the next time the users list will be synced with Azure AD. |
Extension Attributes v2022.4
Use the dropdown selector to choose which Extension Attribute contains the relevant information for the user.

Self Registration
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Auto create user records from bookings | When enabled new user accounts will be automatically created in ResourceXpress from bookings made via connected 3rd Party Booking Systems, this will include the organiser and any attendees. |
Auto generate Access Code for Self-registration | When enabled a Access Code will be randomly generated for a user during Self-registation. |
Auto generated Access Code length | This is a required field when using Auto generate Access Code for Self-registration. This value determines the character length of the generated Access Code. |
Allowed Domains for Self-Registration | Users can only self-register if their email domain is allowed. |
Automatic Password Expiry v2022.1
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Enable Automatic Password Expiry | Tick this value to enable Automatic Password Expiry |
Automatic Password Expiry After | Enter the number of days a password is valid. |
Password Expiry Notification Period | Set the number of days prior to a password expiring to notify users to update their password. An additional email will also be send to alert users the day before their password expires. |
