This tab should be configured first when you start using ResourceXpress.
Use the Locations tab to set up the geographical locations of your ResourceXpress screens:
Choose to:
Create a Location
Click Create in the top right of the tab to display the Add/Edit Location form
Complete the form shown with details of the geographical location of your ResourceXpress screens.
Timezone
This will determine the time for any resource profiles set in this location.
For Maps, Building and Floor details are required.
Floor, this the text value for the floor level, this is how the floor will be shown in most cases.
Floor Level, this is the numerical value of the floor, this is used to determine the correct floor order.
Floor Level Display, this is a shorthand value for the floor, this is used for floor navigation in maps.
Occupancy Restriction was added in v1.9
Click Save.
The location is listed.
Edit a Location
Use the Search box and the navigation tools to find the location that you want to work with:
Click next to the equipment that you want to change to display the Add/Edit Location form:
Complete the form shown with details of the geographical location of your ResourceXpress screens.
Click Save.
Delete a Location
Use the Search box and the navigation tools to find the location that you want to work with:
Click next to the location that you want to delete.
A popup box is displayed prompting Are you sure you want to delete?
Click OK.
The location is removed from the list.
