Marker Coordinates (Admin View)
To place a marker on a map an X & Y coordinate is needed.
You can get these values when viewing the Map preview in “Admin View”.
To access “Admin View” navigate to the Map Profiles page, then select the Preview icon () found in the Action column. This will open the Map in a popup window.
This view is locked, you will need to copy the URL and paste this into a new tab.
At the end of the URL add the text &admin.
Ensure you include the ampersand.
The URL should look something similar to this:
https://app.rx-cloud.com/maps?id=1&admin
You will see a white box appear on the left side of the screen.
Click on the map where you want a marker to be placed.
A blue marker with a number will be added to the map, the box on the left will show this number with the corresponding coordinates.
To more accurately position the marker it can be dragged to the exact spot, the coordinate values will update on the left.
These values can be used when creating Map Resource Objects (markers).
Zooming in can be useful to more accurately position a marker
Keep this tool open, you will need it when adding/editing marker objects to the map below.
