This feature allows for certain locations to be automatically set as Bookable Locations for all users by default when they are created via SSO or CSV import with the value as DEFAULT.

This can be useful when creating many users who will all require the same Bookable Locations.

Using SaaS

Using OnPrem

This option is configured in the web.config file found in the ResourceFiles folder on the ResourceXpress Server.

Navigate to the ResourceFiles folder on your ResourceXpress Server, this is usually found in

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\

Open

Open this file with your preferred editor and find the lines:

The ID number(s) for the required locations will be needed, these ID numbers can be found from the Location edit screen.

Navigate to Administration Settings → System Settings → Locations (tab) then click the edit icon () for the required location, the ID number will be shown in the URL.

Enter this number in between the value quotation marks.
For multiple locations, separate each value with a comma.

Once complete, save this file.
