The Email Settings tab is used to specify email server configuration details. The email address entered here is used for notifications, alerts and reminders.
When users are first created , email settings must be configured immediately.
Complete the fields shown:
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
SMTP Host | Enter the address of the SMTP server for your domain. |
SMTP Port | Enter the port number used by your SMTP server. The default is port 25. |
SMTP User ID | Enter an email address in your domain. |
SMTP Password | Enter the password associated with your email address. |
From Address | Enter the address to appear in the From field on the ResourceXpress email check-in reminder. |
Check the Enable SSL box if you wish to send emails over SSL.
Click Save.
