Create and Edit Map Profiles

Maps Profiles Page

Navigate to the Map Profiles admin page.
This can be found by selecting Administration Settings → Map Profiles from the main navigation menu in the Admin Dashboard.

All existing Map Profiles will be listed here.

Create or Edit

To create a new map click the +Create button at the top right of the screen.
To edit an existing map click the Edit icon ().

The Add/Edit Map Profile view will be displayed.

Name

Enter a clear and concise name for the map profile.

Country Map

This determines how the map will be displayed to users.
Country maps are the top level map that users can access, this allows them to navigate to all other locations, such as Cities, Sites, and Buildings within this country.

A country map does not allow bookable resources to be added.
There is also no date or time shown when viewing this level of map.

Country

if country Map = YES

A dropdown with a list of countries is available to select from.
This is a required field when creating a country level map. All location maps within this country can be navigated to from here.

Location
if country Map = NO

A dropdown with a list of locations that are available to select.
For a location to be shown in this list it must be created in the Locations tab of the System Settings.

This map type can include City, Site, Building, Floor and Zone.

A location map does allow bookable resources to be added.
The date and time will be shown when viewing this level of map.

Map Image Path

Click Choose File and select the map image to be used.
Click View Image to the right of the field to preview the image.

Show Clock

Select to display a clock when viewing maps.

Stylesheet

Allow custom styles to be applied to adjust the look of the map.

Click Save to return to the Map Profiles screen.
