View, Edit and Delete Existing Bookings

  1. Select Booking Manager in the header to display the booking screen:
  2. If resources are listed on the left, use the checkboxes to select the resources with bookings that you want to view. Only these resources with bookings are displayed in the bookings calendar:
  3. Use the calendar on the left to jump to a selected date.
  4. Use the navigation tools above the bookings calendar to choose how the bookings calendar is viewed:
  5. Click on the date with the booking that you want to edit.
    All bookings for the selected date are listed on the right:
  6. Click either:
    •  in the booking that you want to edit.
      or
    •  in the booking that you want to remove.
      If the booking is recurring you need to confirm whether you want to Delete Occurrence or Delete Series.
      Deleted bookings are removed from the bookings calendar.

      A booking can be deleted if;
      * It is a user's own booking
      * the user has an Admin role
      * the booking is not in the past or has not already started
      * the booking is part of a recurring series created in RX
  7. If the booking that you want to edit is recurring you need to confirm whether you want to Edit Occurrence or Edit Series.
  8. Make your selection in the popup window displayed to display the Add/Edit Booking form:
  9. Enter a clear and concise name for the booking in the Event field.
  10. Select the type of Resource that you are booking.
  11. Click in the Attendees field and select the users that are to attend the event/booking.
  12. Set the time and date for the booking, either:
    • Check Is All Day.
    • Select a Start Date.
      or
    • Leave Is All Day as unchecked.
    • Select a Start Date/Time.
    • Select the Duration of the booking.
  13. Mark the event as Is Private for the booking title and description to be replaced with default system values, such as 'Bookings not available'. See Private Session Subject for setting the default value.
  14. Mark the booking as a Recurring Booking, if required, and select an End Date for the recurring booking to end.
  15. Use the free text box to enter details of the event.
  16. Click Save.
    The edited event is listed in the booking calendar.
