Here you will find a list of all the Features, Improvements and Bug fixes added to this version of ResourceXpress SaaS.
New Quick Book buttons available from the Room Screen. This feature has been requested by users who wanted to simplify the booking process and reduce the time it takes to book a room. With the Quick Book buttons, users can make 1-tap bookings. This means that users can quickly reserve a room without having to go through a multi-step booking process. This feature is designed to save time and improve the overall user experience for booking rooms.
If required this option can also be configured to use authentication.
This new Qubi3 interface feature adds an 'Info' parameter to all interactive actions, including book, extend, check-in, and check-out which in the case of Qubi is displayed on the OLED display.
The new "Evacuation Report" feature in ResourceXpress provides a list of bookings that are currently In-Progress and Checked-In, with the resource status including Setup In-Progress, Check-In, In-Progress, and Clear down In-Progress. The report is designed to help organizations quickly identify which rooms or resources are currently occupied in the event of an emergency evacuation.
The new "Resend Registration Email" feature in ResourceXpress allows admins to resend welcome emails to new users who did not receive them, with an option for bulk emailing.
Additional security methods have been implemented for sensitive data stored in the database.
The improvement to Qubi Device Report adds applicable filters and relevant columns for all Qubi devices, such as location, MAC address, model, firmware, and license type.

Booking Manager Exchange Microsoft 365 Office 365
Using the Booking Manager to create recurring bookings in Exchange or Microsoft 365 connected resources can cause double bookings. When creating a recurring booking from Booking Manager, resource availability is checked based on the current bookings available in RX.
There have been rare reports of high CPU usage after upgrading to this version. The solution is to restart the ResourceXpress server.
Exchange Microsoft 365 Office 365
Bookings are not synced when the Push Service is stopped or not installed.
A temporary workaround is to install and/or start the Push Service.
The Check-In action from ResourceXpress is not correctly updated in Zoom when connecting to Exchange via GraphAPI.
This issue could cause bookings to be auto-cancelled by Zoom even after check-in from ResourceXpress. To avoid this issue the Zoom meeting must be started within the Check-In period specified in Zoom.
IE & Maps
There are a few known compatibility issues with Maps working with IE and the Windows-based RX Client Application.
If you are using Kiosk and Maps on a Windows based Kiosk please contact email@example.com before upgrading to this version.
