Room Screen

New Quick Book buttons available from the Room Screen. This feature has been requested by users who wanted to simplify the booking process and reduce the time it takes to book a room. With the Quick Book buttons, users can make 1-tap bookings. This means that users can quickly reserve a room without having to go through a multi-step booking process. This feature is designed to save time and improve the overall user experience for booking rooms.

If required this option can also be configured to use authentication.

Qubi3 API

This new Qubi3 interface feature adds an 'Info' parameter to all interactive actions, including book, extend, check-in, and check-out which in the case of Qubi is displayed on the OLED display.

The new "Evacuation Report" feature in ResourceXpress provides a list of bookings that are currently In-Progress and Checked-In, with the resource status including Setup In-Progress, Check-In, In-Progress, and Clear down In-Progress. The report is designed to help organizations quickly identify which rooms or resources are currently occupied in the event of an emergency evacuation.

An improvement to the Equipment Fault Reporting Facility email to include a Problem ID and Location.

The NFS integration improvements include support to changes in QED Wrapper service for Check-In synchronization, to return an error code when booking end cannot be changed, addition of a new booking status field, and amendment of the organizer field to include host name/email.

Booking Manager

Microsoft 365
Office 365

Using the Booking Manager to create recurring bookings in Exchange or Microsoft 365 connected resources can cause double bookings.
When creating a recurring booking from Booking Manager, resource availability is checked based on the current bookings available in RX.

Install/Upgrade

There have been rare reports of high CPU usage after upgrading to this version. The solution is to restart the ResourceXpress server.
