SSO Settings Tab

The SSO Settings tab is used to configure Single Sign-On within ResourceXpress.

IDP Metadata

This upload field is used to apply the configuration data provided by the SSO service.

SP Metadata

This download button will generate the file required by some SSO services.
The Entity ID and ACS URL can be found using this file.

URL

This is the URL of the SSO service, this will be relevant to the service being used.
This is usually auto-populated after uploading the IDP Metadata file.

IDP ID

This will be relevant to the SSO service being used.
This is usually auto-populated after uploading the IDP Metadata file.

Authenticating Authority

This will be relevant to the SSO service being used.
This is usually auto-populated after uploading the IDP Metadata file.

Auto-create user records from SSO

By default, all SSO users will be granted a User role.
This option will allow users to be automatically created in the RX user database allowing user roles to be assigned, as well as providing the ability to use local access codes and RFID.

Send Welcome Email

When enabled users will receive a welcome email when sign in using SSO for the first time.

Sync user details from SSO

When enabled user details in ResourceXpress will be kept up-to-date to match the details available in the SSO provider.
